David Cavalluzzo is not a highly sought after performance specialist nor is he recognized as a world renowned authority on training athletes. However, he is a coach and the co-owner of AthElite who has dedicated his career to the development of athletes from all ages and sports. This career began in 1998 as linebacker/assistant offensive line coach at Bergen Catholic H.S. in Oradell, NJ. Dave is currently the Strength and Conditioning coach at Bergen Catholic and strength consultant to the Kinnelon High School Football Team. For over 6 years David has worked with professionals, Division I college athletes and the top high school athletes in New Jersey. His mission is to continue what he is doing and to see the tremendous progress of all the athletes he trains. They are the ones deserving of recognition.
Ben Tonon is currently a strength and conditioning coach at Bergen Catholic High School and the Co-owner of AthElite. Ben graduated with a degree in Social studies from West Chester University but quickly realized that his passion is in strength and conditioning. Over the past 6 years Ben has been training some of the top area Grammar School, High School and College athletes. Ben was a 4 year starter for the WCU Varsity Football Team, captain, 2 time All-American, two-time PSAC Conference defensive player of the year and was recently the youngest player ever to be inducted into the WCU Hall of Fame.
Credits• In the last 4 years have helped produce the 2 fastest 5-10-5 agility test and the fastest 40yd dash performers at the prestigious Elite College Combine for high school seniors. All three now have Division I scholarships.• Train over 40 Division I and Division I AA college football players. Train 4 professional football players in the off-season • Have lectured on various topics including strength, speed and flexibility to coaches at the NJSIAA Strength and Conditioning clinic and the Fred Stengel Offensive/Defensive Line Clinic • Strength and Conditioning consultants for Kinnelon HS and Bergen Catholic HS • Testers for the Elite College Combine 2005-present and Extreme Exposure Camp 2007 • Started the First Annual 2007 National High School Strongman Challenge • Started the College Strongman Championships featured on Channel 12 and Rivals.com.
